1. Payment Terms

We prefer payment via EFTPOS on the day of service, we accept Cash, Mastercard and Visa.

Otherwise, our payment terms are 7 days from date of invoice.

Payment can be made by direct deposit into our account as per details provided on the invoice or via our EFTPOS facility accepting Visa & Mastercard either on the day of the job or over the phone within 7 days.

Outstanding accounts exceeding 90 days will incur an additional administration charge of $50 +GST. Debts exceeding 90 days will be referred to a debt collection agency and any costs associated in recovering the debt will be added to the invoice.

If you have any questions or feedback at the completion of the job, the invoice is still payable in full. We will work with you to address and where possible rectify any concerns. You must raise any concerns with us ASAP and within 3 business days of the job being completed.

2. Pricing and Quotes

All quotes are valid for 14 days after issue. If a quote is accepted after 30 days, then a re-quote will need to be completed in order to obtain an accurate price for the works to be completed.

If you accept our quote and we notify you of a scheduled time for your job and you do not cancel the appointment within 48 hours, and we attend your premises as scheduled, we reserve the right to charge the quoted amount, even if you no longer require the work to be done.

We reserve the right to increase our prices at any time.

3. Guarantees

Walkers Lawn Care will ensure that all work completed is to the highest industry standards. We will customise all solutions and products to your individual lawn and keep you informed every step of the way.

Products used are safe and effective but slow-acting so results from most treatments are not fully evident for up to 4-6 weeks after treatment.

4. Our expectations

You are responsible for

Access – The customer must provide adequate access for Walkers Lawn Care to carry out the work as required or additional charges may be incurred. If Walkers Lawn Care are not able to complete the scheduled work required due to lack of access or preparation from the customer, then a revisit will be negotiated to complete the work with a maximum of 1 week from the original scheduled date. If Walkers Lawn Care are required to revisit to complete the work after the negotiated time frame and there is still lack of access or preparation from the customer the job will be charged at 50% of the total invoice amount.

Preparation – The customer is to ensure the removal of furniture/toys/other personal property including garden equipment likely to impede the work scheduled to be completed. The customer must also ensure that all animals are secured, animal waste is removed prior to our arrival and that there will be no interruptions from any other sources while the work is being completed.

The customer is to supply adequate space in their FOGO (green) bin for the disposal of waste after service otherwise a removal of waste fee may be charged at the discretion of Walkers Lawn Care.


Safety – For safety reasons, please remove /secure pets and restrict access for children to the work area during the visit.

You must notify us of the location of reticulation and any other relevant infrastructure.

If coring work is scheduled to be completed, it is the responsibility of the client to clearly denote retic outlets within the lawn area that is to be cored. Walkers Lawn Care take no responsibility to any damage that may arise from completing coring work.

Walkers Lawn Care are not liable for any damage to the property that has not been brought to our attention prior to work commencing.

5. Conditions of Service

We will

Take all care to do the quoted work to a high standard on the dates notified and within the timeframes specified.

Inform you of any problems that arise on the job as soon as possible.

Offer you information about options relating to the identified problems and quote further work if needed.

Schedules of work are planned in circuits to service the metropolitan area approximately 23 cuts per year (unless otherwise agreed), therefore our visit to you must fit our circuit planning, as well as known mowing schedules and weather. This requires a degree of flexibility which prevents Walkers Lawn Care from making precise advance appointments. You will receive an estimated work schedule for regular maintenance and a confirmation of your job 48 hours prior to your booking date.

6. Variations to quoted work

If the customer requests any variation in the works to be completed during the contract after the quote is accepted, Walkers Lawn Care shall, at their sole discretion, quote for the variation on the day of the request.  If the quote is accepted, Walkers Lawn Care shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time to complete the works, as varied.  The customer agrees that they will be liable for any increases to the contract sum as a result of variations quoted and accepted.

7. Right to refuse

Walkers Lawn Care reserves the right to refuse service if, in our opinion, there is any difficulty with access or lack of preparation by the customer or any other unforeseen circumstances at any stage of the job.

Walkers Lawn Care will not book further works to be completed if an overdue invoice remains unpaid.
